Tia Haine - Little Hands Nursery

The Sky is no longer the limit, especially from this angle.

Congratulations to Tia, who has successfully achieved the SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) and secured a permanent position with Little Hands Nursery.

After completing her Level 5 Childcare qualification at school, Tia decided that an apprenticeship was the right next step for her career. Keen to gain practical experience while continuing her learning, she joined Little Hands Nursery and began working towards her SVQ qualification with support from L&G Learning.

Over the past 14 months, Tia has demonstrated commitment, determination, and a genuine passion for working with children. Throughout her apprenticeship, she continued to develop her skills, knowledge, and confidence in the workplace, growing into a valued member of the nursery team.

Reflecting on Tia's achievement, Lorna McKeown, Manager of Little Hands Nursery, said:

Tia was supported throughout her apprenticeship by Linzi, her L&G Learning assessor, who guided her through the qualification process and helped her evidence the knowledge and skills required to achieve her award.

Tia's success is a fantastic example of how apprenticeships can provide a direct route into a rewarding career. By combining hands on experience with recognised qualifications, she has been able to develop professionally while making a positive impact on the children and families she supports every day.
