Welcome to l&g Learning!
About us:
L&g Learning was established in 2006 by our Director, and Chair of the Scottish Training Federation, Lorna Trainer. We specialise in SVQs, PDAs and Employability training for learners within the Care sector.
Coming from a background in social work and further education, Lorna recognised the need for a more flexible, progressive approach to work-based learning. L&g was set up with the aim to work closely with employers and to listen to them in order to better understand their needs. Because of this we are able to provide training that genuinely enhances their service.
Our Values:
We are an environmentally friendly, ethical company, committed to supporting social equality and diversity. That is why we are passionate about working with the Social Care sector. In addition, we respect that everyone learns in different ways, which is why we adapt our training to suit the needs of the individual.
We support and encourage all candidates, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or special educational needs, providing fortnightly candidate/assessor one to one sessions. We are committed to our candidates and employers and we will never miss a session.
What we offer:
We offer a range of courses including:
SVQ Levels 3 and 4 in Social Services (Children and young people)
SVQ Level 2, 3 and 4 in Social Services and Health Care
